While flu shots are typically available in the US beginning in late August, they are often widely available to the Canadian public beginning in October. Check with your family doctor or local pharmacy or clinic for availability and eligibility.

Looking for FluMist? It is available in Canada for the 2025-26 season, but not in every place where flu shots are found. You can use THIS LOCATOR to find a provider near you. 

Please note: FluMist has previously been a quadrivalent vaccine, meaning that it covered four strains. The updated FluMist is a trivalent, including three strains: two A strains (H1N1 and H3N2) and one B strain. Find more details about the specific strains HERE.
